Anyone own the above?...I own it but there is a problem after a few days from the day i bought it.
It gets hang forever especially when playing videos. The screen went black except for the backlight is on and I have to wait till the batt go flat so it switch off. Although I reset it, its still the same.
It does not happen in the first few days, videos played smoothly, no hang at all.
So what is wrong?....

on the contrary, i think ipod stock earphones are the best stock in the market in terms of sound quality.
not sure about the inner mechanisms, but sounds alright to me (:

the old iPod shuffle is a anamoly. Still, the current gen of iPods aren't that great IMO. Other brands such as Sony Walkmans and Samsungs are getting much better. the iPod is merely riding on the brand name

yeah.i got mine a week ago.i encountered the same problem too!you might want to convert your movies once more.it did reset when i pressed the buttons(menu + center)hope it helps!=)

Bring it to Apple Center for checks. If you don't have your receipt with you, they should be able to check via the Serial no on the iPod. If you lost it, just ask them to reprint it... ;)

I've got no problems with my iPod so far. Its the old monochrome one (no videos or colour screen). All scratched and banged-up, and still played the 9000+ songs in it perfect like a 4yrs old iPod should! Though i have to order a replacement battery from eBay.

Yes, I've done everything! I delete the videos, transfer it back in, still the same. All are in mp4 format. And yes, I have reset it a lot of times, but no changes.
The problem is in the first few days, all the videos can be played! But later on, problems occur, which is it got hang forever!

demand for a refund, then buy a Sony Walkman. they're on offer at Vivo now! haha

(I've officially given up on other mp3s ever since I bought my Walkman. They churn out really good stuff)
