hi softies.

my name's Qhai. guitarist and using my vocal chords. don't mind the nick i'm just representing my band, Obscure Phionix. i'm 19 this year and been playing guitar since 13.

i'm exposed to all kinds of genre. but heavy metal / visual kei (j-rock) being my influence. been listening to heavy metal as long as i can remember.

my band have been performing at a few places since June 2005. not big though. just small places.

hope that's not too long an intro.

Does it have some subliminal meaning? Or is it simply random?

we got the name from 4 words actually. (obscure, phi, sion, phoenix). basically, we got the name after reading Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code. haha.
