Hello everybody. Leng here. First I have to clarify. I'm a guy. haha. I'm 18 right now. I play drums and I'm in a band. Feel free to check out my band. www.myspace.com/airtimesound
I love music. My favourite bands are Chimaira, Thrice, Suffocation, Muse, Ill Nino, Fear Factory, Embrace, Despised Icon and Coldplay. I'm a self taught drummer. So I don't have theory and stuff. I was in my school Jazz band previously and fortunately, I picked up a bit of scores reading there. I'm always interested to explore snare drum rudiments and slowly implement them on to a drumset.
When I'm playing with my band, we often don't stick to one genre. Genres we play can range from alternative, indie, metal, metalcore, rock and roll. I'm not sure if this is usual for most bands. Anyway, this is because all my band mates have different influences. And we like our differences actually. We attempt to bridge all of them to create genreless songs.
I guess that's all about me. Hope to know more like minded friends here.
