Hi guys,
presenting...JAZZANOVA!!
The ITE Jazz Band was inaugurated on 12 Feb 2000 as a student co-curricular activity (CCA) under the umbrella of ITE’s Centre for Music and The Arts or CeMTA. CeMTA’s role is to develop students’ talent in music and the arts as part of ITE’s total training philosophy. The expected outcome of the concept is to produce ITE graduates who are not only competent in the technical courses they have enrolled in but also equipped with life skills such as leadership, teamwork and interpersonal relationships. Currently, talents in the band come from the 3 ITE Colleges namely, ITE College Central, ITE College East and ITE College West and supported by some dedicated Alumni members. The band plays a repertoire of popular songs which includes swing, latin, rock and funk. Over the years, the band has played regularly at in-house college events as well many public functions
Ps: Any jazz peeps around? bands or even people who love jazz..
