It's getting bigger and better! For its 3rd year, Singapore's International A Cappella Festival will continue to grow into a month long vocal extravaganza featuring top A Cappella groups from around the world!
Returning to the familiar venues of the Arts House Chamber and the Esplanade Recital Studio, this year’s festival will run from the 9th of October 2010 to the 31st of October 2010, and will again be highlighted by some of the best a cappella groups in the world!
Suade (Australia) brings its down under charm to Singapore with its smooth harmonies, soulful voices and comedic performances. Fool Moon (Hungary) promises to dazzle the audience with its take on classic songs by George Michael, Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5. Vocaldente (Germany) makes a return visit to the festival, bringing with them their unique style of pop a cappella. Other German groups include Niniwe, and Klangbezirk for a heavy dose of Vocal Jazz. Orange (Hong Kong) represents Asia in this international lineup and promises to deliver an “All – Range” kind of performance, tackling different kinds of musical styles; while A-Five (Korea) appeals to fans of the K-wave that has hit Singapore.
Local talent is definitely not forgotten in this festival! A Cappella acts like Coffee on Sunday, Key Elements, Notella and TAS Voices will also grace the stage. In addition to this, youth a cappella groups, fresh off the 2010 A Cappella Championships, like SMU Voix, Acappuccino, TAS Youth Voices and TAG and more will also present their music during this festival.
With such a talented lineup, the festival is sure to be a blast and an experience that is unforgottable!
