Just sharing my insane experience with Cash converters this morning as i was trying to sell of my Digital casio celviano which cost me $1.600. Basically its a 6 month old digital piano full set which include piano chair, piano cover, key cover and headphones and im moving out from the country.

Came across cash converters as they mention We buy and sell items that has value. So i tried and call to make sure they take in digital piano. Confidently said Yes.

This morning i recevied an Email that they could only take in at $200? That insane! That is not even an offer. I would still take in if they offer least $800. But at $200 to think for a second thats not even a value of money. Its a digital piano it is not some old furniture. Hence it is not even a year. Its insane and rubbish. I wouldnt recommend cash converters even if im trying to sell small items. I bet they could effort $1. Rubbish!

Sell it to the public if you want a better price.

They need to take a cut to sell it on your behalf. You are thinking your Casio's worth $800
and they are valuing it much lower say $500, factoring the margin for overheads. Thus,
the $200 offer. You can definitely get better price if you sell it directly to consumers.

Cash Converters arecreated for people who doesn't mind the losses but wanna quickly
get rid of their loads..
