Importance Of Band Unity

hi everybody... there's been some recent discussions about how bands must look united.. i wan to know what others opinions are as well b4 i say more..do u think that bands should play shows without what makes them special, example guitarist,vox,drum,keyboards??? also,should everything be controlled by one member???

I'm sorry, but I did not get what you were trying to say in that particular sentence.

However, I feel that all the band members should gel. It's the act of making music with people you want to be around with that makes the band AND motivates the rest to take time off their schedules to go to a crammed room to make noise.

You may have talented people but if you can't work together as one and take criticism positively, then the unity will crumble.

i meant as in playing without the members that makes the band unique n special..like van halen without eddy or alex..or cradle of filth without dani filth..or opeth without mikhail....and use sessionist instead just because the other members want to play for the sake of playing
