If you've ever spent your childhood in the 80s....

Good link bro..

All those childhood years..

My favourite cartoon was of course Transformers and Mask..
Gummi bear is kinda cute but I prefer Care Bear..

Most favourite is STARCOM!!!! Magna Deploy.. I have a Starmax Bomber and a Starwolf which my little bro make its life shorter by throwing it from the balcony all the way to the ground floor just to see if it really flies :smt022

The hardest cartoon for me to memorize is of course Visionaries..

Hahahahaha.. brought tears of joy sia...

Thanxx again

I wish I grew up in the 80's, its my dream to live in the 80's when thrash metal was a big thing.

the 80s rocked!~

hey who remembers Dino Riders?? i still have the T-REX man!

come to think of it....i was such a blessed kid....i had toys from visonaries thundercats he-man bravestar transformers silverhawks centurions ghostbusters.....all these while malmsteen was shredding away :x

HEY! Same here! If only I'd pick up the guitar from that age... ...or have kept those toys till now... *lol*

Anybody remembers Voltron, ThunderCats, or maybe the guitarist from Misfits of Science??? Those were the days, man...

By the way, I've been searching for a toy that i had during childhood. But i can't seemed to remember the name of the toy. I am trying to find one at online classifieds or auctions, but no luck yet. Can anybody help? It's a ball-bearing game (mounted on a piece of plastic) in which the metal ball would have to travel from one station to another. There are about 5-6 stations in total. One of the station would require the players to balance the metal ball with just 2 thin horizontal "poles". Think of the whole game as a small pinball machine. The mysterious toy is largely green in colour. Any clue??? Please help...

hahahaha....... seem like we r getting old liao........ lol.......

btw

mask will be rite back...... n so is vemon........

sound familar?.......

OH MY FxxxING GOD.

THAT GAME LIKE TOTALLY SCREWED MY CHILDHOOD. I was just getting so traumatised with anger ... sitting there tapping the button ( kinda like a small space bar ) getting the ball bearing to hop to the next station. the hardest is the rotating magnet arm... which rotates 360 degrees and brings your ball bearing to the next platform. that game kills man...

but when i finally make it... its satisfying man ...

but i actually spent alot of my childhood running around the jungle in punggol and fishing etc.. quite kampong style...

thunder, thunder, thundercats! HHHOOOO! :D
and then there was Tour of Duty, Miami Vice, Knight Rider etc :D
its all about the big hair

Who remembers Silverhawk??

When U compare to the toons nowadays, its very different.. I tried very hard to sit down and watch but couldn't. Maybe it has no pull factor.

Couldn't deny that todays animation and CGI is better but still couldn't beat the past...

What do u guys think? Which of the cartoon nowadays has the same pull factor like the past??
