trying to downsize my pedalboard so...

If you could only have 2 overdrive/distortion pedal to cover rhythm and lead soloing what pedal would that be...?

If I could only have two pedals, I'd choose my... pod x3 live!

oh wait, that's only one... okay, maybe a tubezone in it's effects loop would complete the picture

what type of music are u playing?

for certain type(music), u don't even need a pedal at all..lol

i'd go with my Jetter pedals... the Gainstage Blue for Marshall Plexi tones and Gainstage Gold for the D*mble tones. They stack very well with each other, and they interact with different amps differently, so i'm always well sorted in any show - if one pedal doesn't interact well with a particular amp, the other is bound to sound great with it. So one will be set up as a main drive, and the other is set up as the boost / mild OD.

My MIJ SD-1 and my LM308 RAT would handle most of the tones I'd want.. SD-1 for overdriven tones and RAT for slightly fuzzy high gain ones..

hmm seems like SD-1 and DS-1 is mentioned a couple of times. i play in church..so i would say any od/dist that can cover blues to rock tones would be good.

is there any place to try out the 7th heaven?

since u play in church, i'd suggest a mild overdrive, yeah, and sd-1 or a tubescreamer. i particularly like the barber direct drive.

if u're limited to 2 pedals, i'd say a delay for church is important. so an overdrive and delay for me if i had to choose 2 pedals only.
