Looks like a lovely place I'll think about it, just that I thought a BBQ was more relaxing.. Had this idea of a huge mat and everyone sitting down stoning and perhaps listen to each other sing as well to get a better idea of what our tips are..

BBQ rental cheaper also I'm underpaid yknow? LOL

Mmz maybe when the time comes I'll do a vote..?

Hmm... the Singaporeans I know don't really like the idea of singing by the seaside where usually there'll be lots of people. I've only seen maybe Filipino groups do that.

But hey, don't listen to me ya..

I'm sort of a planner and a perfectionist.

I tend to think too damn much..

It's easy to throw me off when I sing and the bass goes salah a bit.

well screamin is not all about screaming and for those who have experience lost of voice because of screamin well you guys dun take care of your throats... Warm water is an essential when ur screamin always make your throat wet.. and a spoon of honey every morning like how singers take care of their voices... a screamer who really understand the way of screamin will know the do's and dont about screaming...
- if u cant scream dont scream (no such thing as ''seasoning'' the voice, u'll just damage your vocal box)
- need to know wat technique ur using (e.g. inwards or outwards)
- like singers, screamers do need stamina
- screamin is not about just screaming, screaming do have keys like low and high pitch screaming

so remember kids is not all about screaming your lungs out, there is a technique and there is ways to screams,

well this post s not to offence anyone out there if i did i apologise for my mistake. i just wanna state some facts about screaming...

and to the vocalist outing

That's why I think BBQ may not be an easy task to execute.

With an evening drinks outing, everybody will pay for his or her own drinks.

We can probably share the cost on finger foods. Of course, I will contribute my share then.

Hmmm.. thinking about it, maybe I should ask my friend Rani whether she's open to let us in her home at Jalan Hang Jebat.

It's one of those old black and white English apartment blocks in one-north (www.one-north.sg) and has quite a large living room. If anyone is familiar with the area, you'll know the setting's perfect for this kind of gathering. Arty farty expat (mostly ang mohs) neighbours who will welcome this sort of activity and not complain at the slightest noise.

Rani herself is an excellent keyboardist and she is an Indonesian ex-architect who is now a stay home mum with two little kids. She's a very talented musican and very friendly and chatty.

So, we'll likely spend (much) less if she agrees and you guys don't mind we gather there. I foresee gathering there till like 10pm on a weekend to be absolutely no problem man. We just share money buy pizza and drinks or something lor.

Let me know what you think. I will flag out the idea first thing to Rani tomorrow morning.

Man, I am so full of ideas.
