not many semis there, in fact, 2 only:

AS103NT- this AS is from the Custom range, very sweet singing Super 58 pickups in there (my fav!), some of the smoothest neck tone caould be heard here

AMF73- this is the other semi there, not quite the traditional-sounding one you'd hope to acquire- it's brighter sounding & more adept to distortion rather than cleans. if you are the jazz purist, you'd rather consider the AS103 above...

hey sub. if my budget is $200, can get any good guitar during the sales? prefer black colour and the string tuning thing all at the top. noticed that ibanez guitars alot all at the btm. haha

no they are not, i take it you mean the fine-tuners at the bridge, yes? these are strictly fine-tuners (for locking whammy bridges which are on selected Ibanez models, not all), they are not primary tuners. all major tuning work should be done by the tuners at the headstock.

after the 40% discount, some guitars would be slightly more than $200 & these are from the GIO range.

of course there are, one i'd recommend (which isn't costly), would be the new GARTS70 (new for 2010). the 'S' there stands for set-neck- this guitar features a set neck construction for better access to the upper frets.

moving on to the mid-priced guitars (after the 40% disct, these would be in the $600-$700 price bracket) sporting locking, dual-action whammy bridges, these are recommended:

RG350M BK (new for 2010), please note, only the black version is available, the yellow one was too popular & duly snapped up even before the sale...

RG350EX- despite being similar in specs, the EX version costs more than its above counterpart above, about $400 more

XPT700- i'm including this guitar here, it'll be about $150+/- more than the price bracket mentioned above but it's one of the better playing/ sounding Ibanez despite the protrusive outline. NOTE: this model includes a hard case, please enquire if this is available during SALE time. if it's not, swee lee will request you come back the following day to collect it.

bro- the GRGR121 comes in 3 colours- black/ red/ white, it's a matter of which one's available during sale time. however, i don't see any at all when i last drop by the store, do note. ask as much as you want- if i can't provide the info here, i'll tell you. no use going there disappointed...

AMPS!!

ValBee- this rather impressive tube-equipped amp is discontinued but it's still available @ BB showroom. the cleans are superb, the drive channel does NOT possess that metal-type intensity but would complement a drive-type booster pedal well.

TBX30R- this comes from the newer X-series range (Toneblaster), why i recommend this as opposed to the previous incarnation- the drive definition here is more appealing. meaning: clarity at high drive settings.

Sub, the red colour grg model are only available in reverse headstock ar? so only the grg n grx model guitars will be in red colour? any idea the price range for the amps that u recommended?
