Ibanez SZ series- thank you & farewell...

are you a fan of the SZ series? maybe you've been wanting to get one? well, do hurry because 2008 bids farewell to the fantastic SZ models, in replacement would be the SRZ series... apprehension aplenty.

some ardent SZ fans're hoping this news is just hot air but all would be told in 2 weeks time

*different headstock
*different cutaway bouts
*a thicker body (as if the SZ's isn't thick enough)
*non-Duncan affiliated humbuckers

that cutaway reeks ghost rider definitely, the headstock's not new though, been used in the X-series, eg:

sub, on the bright side theres a new S prestige coming out soon. the SV5470.

they are more offset, like the typical S-series (which it's based on) unlike this one which are more 'symmetrical'. very ghost-riderish...
