some personal recommendations for the upcoming Ibanez Sale:

RG7321: if you are aiming for an affordable 7string, the RG7321 will be sub$500, a worthy buy IMO

SZ320: a set neck, mahogany Ibanez for slightly more than $500- another steal...

RD500: a versatile bass, please ignore the arguably undesireable look, i'm sure you can. $410 is a very inviting price tag

looking from the Ibanez website specs alone, the difference btw the 2 RGs are only the colors and the pickguards.

the differences are:

1. pickguard type

2. EX has chrome hardware, DX has black hardware

it used to be that he EX models feature a non-gloss, textured, finish but that was applicable to the discontinued RG550 back in 2002.

the RG350 is a good guitar to acquire but the default pickups is not the guitar's strength.

hello guys i am quite a noob looking for electric guitar, ibanez of course.. but i am not really into shredding or hardcore metal. just here and there and such i got a budget maybe around 400 to 500 bucks? can you all reccomend me something? or plus the amp around 600? thanks. oh i want to play some clean tone like slash and these and such.

quite a difficult situation- Slash & Ibanez don't quite mix...

the Ibanez SZ series will give you a thicker low end, will be sub-$500 on the disct day, but there's no amp in the package.

ibanez is not about shred exclusively...

the SA series are splendid, largely overshadowed by the RG models. you're better off getting a model with single coil + humbucking pickups for tonal variety. the SA160 (if there are any more left in the stores)/ SA260 are highly recommended. you can read the SA260 review here:

ok thanks.. its a hard decision man. i am kind of impressed with sz320 but donnoe which one to get between this and sa260 lol. 2 humbuckers looks good somemore its duncan pickups.
