Yeah got a $100 discount from Swee lee cos my brother worked as audio technician for some big company that orders huge amount of equipment from Swee Lee so he knows the boss or something. It's good to have some strings to pull, but now he's not working there anymore.

That's why I don't feel so bad selling it at $390. But yeah next time if I wanna sell my other guitars I wun be so stupid.

SO Reid is confirmed buying the guitar? No New strings thrown in, the guitar is so under-ultilised that I've never change the strings before, and i have no idea how to. Go to guitar shop and shop for new strings yourself, how i know what gauge u like.

Just wanna get rid of the thing, no space in my room man too many guitars.

yeap thanks for the deal..

anyway guys how much would the trem bar cost if i wanna get an original one?

If anyone here took Contract Law, any verbal offers that are not accepted will be considered rejected.

i took contract law. non-acceptance does not equal rejection. non acceptance just means there is no contract, that's about it. it gets complicated when the seller doesn't reject the prior offer but accepts the subsequent ones. but that didn't happen here of course...

Sub,

It depends on the so called "offer". If the potential buyer contacted the seller through the ad posted here, the ad is only an invitation to treat, so the buyer's "offer" is the initiation of the contract, if the seller doesn't have any obligations to answer the potential buyer, as silence doesn't equal acceptance or rejection. But need to consider the timeliness of the answer of the potential buyer/seller too...

heh no matter what i'd be getting this:

Final price:

1. RG370DX
2. including 15 watt leather-skin Ibanez amp, cables, bag, guitar strap, even a bottle of Guitar polish.

for $450, which is a good deal :) thanks all for ur input in this thread, v much appreciated!

The RG370DX is a good guitar. I like it very much. I got it at $670 at swee lee with a bag from Aryani. So, i think what Jaycomposer offered was a good deal. Enjoy this axe, Reid!

Sub,

But need to consider the timeliness of the answer of the potential buyer/seller too...

all this in due consideration, definitely... in due perspective, the law doesn't take into account the human element to it- offer at one price, got someone interested, but subsequently change offer price. so buyer suffers from that, oh so sinking feeling... Reiteration: 'this didn't happen here of course...

it is indeed a good buy... the whammy bar- check Davis if they have these in stock. i don't think there's any Ibanez brand whammy bar, something that fits is good.

The law does offer some warranty regarding this situation, albeit a little indirect. To make a contract valid, after the initial offer and acceptance of the contract, consideration must be provided in monetary terms to make it a valid contract, then only the seller is bound by the said price. This is actually the use of the deposits: to reserve the said item at the price that both the seller and buyer agreed upon, the deposit acts as a consideration making the contract valid. Although the seller could verbally accept an offer, but till sufficient consideration is provided, the seller has no obligation to sell it to the person.

Alright sub, I'll stop hijacking the thread :D

It might be a GRG series guitar, but if it's a GRG with an Edge III it's definitely a good deal. Assuming playability is as good as any Ibanez.

depends lah, i've abused the trem so much on my own rg370ex and stays in tune dandy. heh but yeah 450 is excellent, dude reid, do take care of it yah? not everyday you'd get such a good deal and a good guitar as well =)

Hmmm......any GRG series with an EDGE bridge wld prob be a best seller. The main reason people shun GRGs is mainly bcos of the bridge.

And, i think it was gd of jaycomposer to let it go at such a price. Not many ppl wld keep the price so low after finding out the market price. Keep the guitar well reid, its a very gd axe, esp. for the price.

hi i just bought the guitar back:

its a royal blue rg370dx as written on the back of the headstock...

overall surfaces very mint except for the following: (no offence to the seller but just wanna discuss and see if i need to change the pickups a bit)

is it normal for the pick ups to be a little rusty? and also some scratches on the knobs. its just the rust thats in the way, please ignore the white color dust, they could be wiped away real easily.

sorry im new to guitars and new to owning an electric guitar. so im just curious if those pickups are pretty normal for a second hand guitar, or should i change them?

playing wise everything is perfectly fine. she also threw in a ritter junior amp and a 15w ibanez amp, next picture..

i think its still a good deal so thank you a lot for selling :)

take some oil and remove the rust , i'am pretty sure it can be easily removed .
if u're unhappy with the tone of the pickups then change it , if not should be okay if u stick with u're current pickups
