say, is there any way of telling the model of your RG by looking at it and it's parts? I'm so sure about my ibanez being RG270 now haha..it has a s/n starting with F00..f means japan but this guitar was bought b4 2000...
it's actually good to know the real make & model of your guitar, eg: RG170, if you get this guitar in 1997, then it's plywood. subsequently, it's basswood...
hi sub, don't really have the stuff to upload a pic of it..basically here are the specs:
sparkling purple finish
neck is i think, one piece maple cos the grains look similar to the pgm neck
rosewood fretboard
tuners read "made in japan"
s/n starts with "F00"
default pus are the v7 v8 s1 set
aanj neck joint
lo trs trem (stupid floyd!)
neck is a super wizard. And that's all i can see on the guitar...
s/n is F0033642..means jap made in yr 2000 right?
yeah that's that thing you mentioned which suggests it's a few pieces glued together but strange i think the pgm neck has that too and they said it's one piece..dirty liars..oh and every catalog says rg270 sports powersound humbuckers..means mine is not rg270?
my rg doesn't have a pickguard though...it's a pgm300..i think they said one piece maple neck on the pgmsite or something...or somewhere..can't remember...
