Ibanez owners come on in!!

Hi guys, since we've had like a Fender shootout, a Gibson shootout and PRS shootout here why not have an Ibanez one? Or maybe it's been done before, but let's show off our proud Ibanez axes!! I'll start with mine..my recent pride and joy, my PGM300..sweetest ibanez haha..and an MIJ RG270 that's been thrashed by me for 5 or 6 yrs and still rocks hard!! So how about you guys?
 
I have an S series... S520EX....

Its all black, black Breed humbuckers too... . antique silver trem and metal parts...

and here's the best part...

The finish looks like aged leather... its like a whole network of big cracks all over the guitar! :) I think thats killer... hehehe.... my baby!

And she sings will too!

Here's my Ibanez, next to my Strat.
Err, rather embarrasingly, i don't know what model it is - it's an S Series, either a 570 or a 390, but I dunno which. Anybody know how to find out from serial num?
 
I've retired my Ibanez S370 as it's now an artist signature collector. Another reason was because of the liscence floyd.. unstable and not the best of tremolo systems to work with. Stay away from liscenced floyds man. Ibanez should have installed better trems in the earlier S series...

Hehe, the sticker i got from a store in penin, the one which sells posters, toys and stuff. Really reflective material.
 
Swee Lee is having a sale on at their 7th floor warehouse at Sims Drive - I went there today so it was a bit crazy, since it's the first day of it. I brought my workmate to buy a $99 Squier Bullet/Strat as his first electric guitar - he seemed very happy.

Anyway, they have loads of Ibanez guitars on sale their - PGM, UVs, S Series, etc.... There's a Universe going for about $2250 - black. Anyway, I thought I'd mention it.
 
well mine is SA series ibanez. It has a great distorted sound if u put it through the DS-1 distortion. Sounds something like blink-182 when i play their songs.

It might be - I really don't know. I have the receipt for the thing back at my folk's house in UK which says so. I'll take some close up pics of it tomorrow and post them so you can have a closer look - you sound like an expert :)


The body is very thin and I think it might be basswood. God - I suppose it could almost be considered criminal how little I know about it since I've had that axe for about 7 years. It has a super fast, super thin neck.
 
I'm flattered. But I'm no expert :) Just that I've been on Ibanez for quite some time. Used to have a S Series from the earlier batch...with custom necks. Yours seems pretty close to that.... I remembered that there was a natural finish model to the s540ltd series. Are those stock pickups on urs labelled QM1 or QM2?

A good taste for strat you got there. How's the feel?
