Ibanez K5 Bass

Hi All,

i recently went to swee lee and saw the ibanez K5 model but the petite pretty lady already was testing and and bought it on the spot. Sweeleee said they got only one stock, do you guys know any other shops I could get the ibanez k5 model? or know ways to order online? is it safe to order online? cheaper? sweelee cost 1.8k :?

well,... i dun really play 5 strings,... imonly a 4 string person,. but i've been wanting to "upgrade" to 5 strings. I saw the K5 once and heared it and sounds really nice,.. im actually eyeing the ibanez sr505 but they dun have stock here in s'pore. any advise for a 5 stringer wannabe? is K5 a good option?

i got an RD505 from swee lee and it sounds sweet a lot of choice of tone to me..wit 5 pickup selection, bass booster and treble booster..so a great 5 string bass IMO

for that kinda money, a Prestige model will be more rewarding IMO.

i agree,...but prestige model is toooo expensive for me,..
2k +++ from sweeleee,... only 4 string model.

will ordering online make it cheaper??

well, if you know you like the bass, and die die must have it, go for it!

however brand new hard to find. ishibashi doesn't sell it. Anyone else noe where to get brand new online?

k5 sounds great playing metal. but i'm not sure bout others. it's not very versatile. accordin to another softie it wasn't very versatile when playin like jazz...

yup .. sadly lah ... there are some people who have MTD's in singapore .. but lower end series .. i have not come across anyone who owns the American series yet .. the 435, 535 etc ...

Thank you all for those who replied,... playing thet 5 strings for the first time is really confusing,... i kept playing the b string as the e string from a 4 string bass,....hehehe
well,... guess have to keep on practicing,..


hope to see some of you in real person,.. like a grand bass eyeball or something,... sharing new tricks like the bass day in US. hehehe
