Ibanez guitars

i cant remember the shop, sorry. What's a GIO? anyway i'm going back to check the model.

check the headstock, it should indicate what kinda Ibanez model your looking at.
A GIO is an entry level Ibanez, you can search the forums here for more info on it :D

Particularly the label at the back. Will have both the serial number and the model. Unfortunately, GIOs don't have the model written there. Just the serial number. GIOs are good provided you find a good piece, because some poorly-made pieces do make it through the inspection. I own a particularly good piece and absolutely love it even after two years!

I think he means 5 way switch...

Anyways, the surefire way of buying original stuff ois to buy from the AUTHORISED dealer...

true, but the authorised dealer's salesman once thought i was an idiot and kept insisting i buy a gio when i was there to check out the iceman, bad experience at you know where, worse i tested him and when i asked for discount, he said no discount at all, wew 500 plus for a gio?

I bought my Ibanez Gio from Standard Value. Excellent service there! And I've never had problems with my guitar's intonation, etc. Mike at Standard Value's my number one go-to guy for technical stuff. I bought some other stuff from Standard Value, too, but Standard Value has a lot of other cool stuff to try out, other than Ibanez.
