I wish I could...

*Sigh*

I wish I could have better hearing... My hearing is so poor, I'm actually tone deaf. Kinda sucky since I have problems figuring out chords and stuff...

What to do what to do... Starting myself on some aural exercises to help train my hearing... man! To think my sister actually has perfect pitch but all I've got is a hole at each side of my head.

What about you guys? What is it you wish to have improved in your musical life?

as i always would tell my cadets...never let a small setback pull you down from achieving greater heights.

:D

I wish I had an angel
For one moment of love
I wish I had an angel
Your Virgin Mary undone
I`m in love with my lust
Burning angelwings to dust
I wish I had your angel tonight

Btw, thats a nightwish song...

I wish i could stop my feet from following my hands when drumming... it's so hard to get do triplets on the pedals and try to do 4ths or 8ths on the hands. :?

I also wish i could go out there and meet the drummer friends in US that i have made, and have a jam session with them.

And I wish there were more music stores that sell quality CDs and DVDs at non-cut-throat prices. How much of almost 100 bucks does Mike Portnoy earn from 1 sale of a LDT DVD?!?!?!? perhaps 10 dollars or less?

ShredCrow I feel your pain. However, I managed to mix live bands in church for 4 years while I was still tone deaf. Still got people praise my mixing sometimes.
:D I had to eventually go for 2 months of vocal training to "correct" my tone deafness and pitching.

i wish i had shorter terms and more holidays. 4 weeks sch den 1 week holiday. no use having so much gear and no time to play. and of course to look cool while playing guitar whahah:)

I'm tone deaf too. But listening to SOMEBODY's (the thread starter's) songs, I'm slowly starting to get the hang of it :D. I'm a big fan of the thread starter.

:)

i wish i could hear a piece and just play it right there and then! some of my friends can do that! and...also to be able to transpose just as easily! :(

wah shredcow is dang pro man!!! and he says he is tone deaf, makes his work even more amazing! haha...:D lol, i see shredcow on the streets a few times b4, but didnt go up and say hi, cos u dunno me. 8)

wish...my voice didnt suck...i sound whiny, dun have much problems with tone deafness or pitch, but i really HATE my voice, it isnt deep, i sound like Timmy from Fairy Odd Parents, if u know what that is.... and even in church, when singing during the service, i can hear my own voice and i feel so disgusted! :(
