i messed up the action of my guitar

hey guys,

i maintained my guitar today and did thw whole steel wool and lemon oil thingy. When i was restringing my guitar (epiphone 1958 ebony explorer) i realised that i messed up the action of the guitar. so now, im in trouble because if the raise the saddle very high the strings above the first few frets are BARELY above the frets but those at the end of the fretboard are like 1 cm aove the fretboard wtf should i do??

PS: i dont have the time/money to go to a guitar shop.

my guitar is not a floyd rose its the normal type if u kn ow what i mean.

You mentioned you messed up your action. Tough luck for you, because if anyone were to attempt to teach you how on the forums, it's going to be extremely subpar in terms of actual performance - it'll be too difficult for you to follow the instructions properly without screwing up your guitar further. Also, it's difficult for others to ascertain your problem without looking at the guitar.

Do yourself a favour. Find some time and money. Get it fixed at a guitar shop.

sob sob and i dont know why my strings feel very loose when i play them like i can vibrato and bend like crazy and the string wont break.

hmm im just randomly turning the knob to get the lowest action woth no buzz think im getting there

Turning what knob? U mean adjusting the truss rod? Action on a ABR style bridge is 1 screwdriver and up /down... 8)

yup thats what i mean there are like 2 knobs which u can turn to bring em up and down...gonan get it professionally done next time..its okay for now tho
