but you guys realised there's this shop at fareast plaza level 3 if im not wrong.
this salesmen would crack something up like "bro, is out there still raining?"and he would go on insisting about his products that they are cheap and get two for a cheaper price bla bla bla.he would stalk you like hell i would say like persuading die die must buy his product.
the best excuse i have to get away from that shop is "i want to withdraw money at atm first.i'll come back later".
which i dont do so.

haha! me too. no cash. 'MUST go atm.' hahah. but that time felt terribly guilty when i went to this guitar shop and very interested oredi. until i asked him take out the pickguard all that. then 'need to go ATM'. went around, saw better offer. haha.shit.

try this la. when the shopkeeper/ sales assistant keeps following your around. stop. turn around and stare at them thoughtfully until they move away. then when they move away, follow them around instead.

If you have ever worked in retail, you will know why sometimes the staff have no choice but to 'follow' some customers around. You think the staff always so free to be a shadow meh? If all customers are considerate enough to take care of the store's products, they wouldn't have to resort to that already lol.

hehe yea i know that shop. very noisy one ah the guy. people listening to mp3 then he talk-talk. can't even look at the designs in peace. so far i bought only 1 shirt from that shop. too expensive la..even after discount

I get followed sometimes also, not in shops but when I'm walking about alone somewhere.. I know it's supposed to be scary, but I actually enjoy it cos I'll figure out ways to follow the bloke instead and then he'll get freaked out. lol. Never stalk a stalker.....................

edit: Actually, next time someone follow you, just follow back. Or if he/she's not moving, just stand next to him and grin and wait for him to move.
Tried and tested, they'll get the message, but you might end up looking like a psycho or in IMH if you don't do properly. LOL~

they are seriously just doing their jobs. you shouldnt feel bothered about it. just pretend they are not there. you wouldnt like it if customers showed u bad attitude if you were working. im srue they are friendly and mean no harm

yeaa. ok i was just joking. and i always fee sorry for the sales people, once being a salesperson myself. some customers want this some want like that.

but i think whats best is the sales person just stand somewhere visible to the customers giving that 'if u need me, i'll be right there!!' look. after awhile or seeing puzzled look on customers, approach to offer help. to me la.

or customer comes in, offer help. if customer don want, just say 'i'll be right there(points somewhere u can camp) if u need me)

but bottomline:
YOU JUST CAN'T PLEASE EVERYBODY!!!
