thx for the recommendation guys..but just found my guitar to be abit wanky today.Tbh i have not touch my guitar for a long time and only did recently.Found that when i wanna play songs,the sound i heard is completely off!My string is in tune..so whats the problem

I think you are going off topic. well for a start since you want to swap out your pickups, you should head down to a guitar store and check out their pickups and ask the tech whats wrong at the same time.

LPMan, ppl always tells me that pup does not make much of the difference and we should just get the cheaper alternatives.. but..

i'm a sucker for Dimarzio and i recommend you check them out

For rock and punk, I'd say Seymour Duncan JB is a good choice, with that fat, thick tone. But it must complement your guitar though, it might sound the same on all guitars.

Ah yes the GFS pickups, real nice and bang for buck, currently have the mean 90s in my gibby sg and it is pretty sweet imo.

As for humbuckers, i have been a SD user for many years and they have never disappointed me, so i would recommend them. I currently have the 59' and JB combi in all my humbucker guitars, but if u r into punk/metal/heavy stuff, u shld try the distortion, invader, or blackouts but they r only good at heavy sounds imo. If u want versatility, i heard lots of rave reviews on their P-Rails. Hope this helps, cheers!

Seymour Duncan is still the best to me as it suits the sound I want. But as many have mentioned. Tesla pickup is also a killer. I've installed Tesla Plasma II on one of my guitar and I've love them so ever. I've not tried other model of plasma though. But if you're in a budget, you can opt for that Tesla Plasma II as it cost only S$80 at Standard Value for one humbucker.
