Bruce, the western forums tell me that most guitars from Ibanez and Jackson fall into the superstrat category.

thanks for the correction but i'd like to see it pls? thanks! :D

aiyoh...super strat or not isnt the problem id think ... just buy what your personaly budget allows lo...

you want 24 frets? ...strat style body?. RG is a great bet. its cheap. looks good and plays like a dream.

*Sigh* Bruce, why don't you tell us, from what forum has offically told the world that superstrats aren't jacksons or ibanez RGs... but rather are as you defined them.

No wait... come to think of it... there's no such OFFICAL defination of a superstrat.

People have always been using it to refer to guitars with Strat like bodies.

If you want to pick a fight over it... go to your western forum...

I mean, MAN!!! You are hijacking this thread.

a superstrat doesnt have to be shaped exactly like a strat but rather it embodies the same concepts as a strat(except the single coils)

ibanez is a superstrat? what an insult to strats ahem.*cough*firewood*cough*

And if you don't like Ibanez... its cool. :)

Except pro-Ibanez people in forums like Jemsite are more well mannered and matured in their comparisons to other brands. ;)

Go learn a thing or two ya?

alright alright alright u win, ibanez is a superstrat

but that sure dont look like a forum to me lol :P

ooi ibanez kicks ass don't insult ibanez! i on one hand don't really like strats i sold off my 70s classic series strat to get an ibanez rg prestige2120X with duncans..and who says rg's are only for rock? the neck sh6 handles the softer stuff i like really well and the piezo too.

well i personally prefer the 'vintage' style strat... whereas a modernised or (super strat) would be refered as ibanez or jackson or other brands... i personally avoid these super strats as they have big, jumbo frets and i'm baby fingered... fender has smaller frets :D but longer necks :( (compared to a standard 22 frets) other than that, i'd love to own an ibanez... and charles, confucious say: you go to jail you naughty boi for selling your strat...
