hi everyone.

went to music plaza, (its called something else now but i cant remember), anyway they say that they do not carry HQ realfeel practice pads already.. anyone knows where can i get them? i think they are one of the best and most cost worthty pads around =)

thanks!

thanks weckl-x just check with them today, they only carry e pads..

anyone tried both e-pad and the HQ real feel? hope to get some rough opinions bout them.. thanks!

hey kazuki !

You might wanna give MusicClef a ring. In my vague memory I think see some of the HQ pads stacked somewhere in their pile of practice pads..

you can call 63377177 to ask

Hi guys, sorry to hijack.

But may i know if the price on the E-Pad website is in USD or SGD?

And what is the usual price of the HQ pads? :)

thanks i will give them a call tmr!

HQ pads use to sell at yamaha at $62 for the 12 inch single side speed pad and 40 for the 6 inch single side. (thats without discount and on the assumption that my memory didnt fail me haha)

i've tried both the HQ and the epads.. personally, i prefer the epads as they do not give tt much rebounce as the HQ one. even though the HQ dual side one of the side (black color) do not give tt much rebounce also, its quite noisy compared to the epads. the epads really work ur muscles to improve urself as you have to rely more on ur fingers rather than the epads.. its not as quiet as the HQ real pad, but the volume is still acceptable=)

ultimately its still ur own choice as to which pad u want to use, but i would definitely recommend the epads =D

by the way, i bought the HQ double sided pad for about $50+ dollars.

Yup I agree with YangZ. I use both the HQ and Epads. Like what YangZ said, HQ has more bounce than Epads.

The Epads give the fingers and wrist a good workout as it has less bounce. So I use it to practice and improve my strokes. If I need to do a quick warmup (before gigs or practice session), I tend to use the HQ as it is less taxing on the muscles. Don't want to end up overworking the mucles before a gig lol.

thanks guys!

i went down to music clef yesterday, they said the HQ pads are sold out.. they still have other HQ stuff there though, like drum mutes and stuff..

E pad sounds good for a work out i will go down to drum resources when i am free to check it out =)

actually i think HQ and vic firth pads are almost the same..just the vic firth are more expensive haha
