Reference to the slash tone post in the forum. Happen to come across a similar post in a taiwanese music forum. The host for that forum posted this short clip to the intro of sweet child o mine. Judging from the link, it could just be a marshall jmp1 preamp and a budda wah set at certain position to get the woody warm tone.
