recently i reserved a squier bass the color is olypic white and i searched all over yahoo but i cant seem to find the pic..I'm afraid that it is an imitation.how do we tell between a real guitar to a imitaion guitar?
I booked it at ranking sports and music bras basah

Hmm.

In my experience as long as your bass sounds fine and it has that sticker which states which series it comes from (california, affinity etc) then just relax.

But above all, since Squier itself is relatively cheap, trust your ears, or a second opinion would be helpful too.

We can actually sue people for selling us fake goods right? If they tell us its real at first, then we find out its fake. Is that considered misrepresentation on his/her part?

guitar = 200

consultation fee = 2000

lose the suit = HAHA :lol:
no point imo, alternatively you can draft a written agreement if you DO want to take action.

Hmm.

Well, the whole sueing thing is beyond me, but I do believe that the case would rather be between the perpetuator and the victim company whose goods have been faked.

Take the case of thousands of fake handbags flooding into Hong Kong etc from mainland china every month. Do you really think consumers would bother?

Of course in this case whereby the sound is obviously going to suffer... it's up to the buyer to test the instrument before buying rather than just hope that the brand would mke up for lost tone.
