How to make velcro stick to Digitech pedal?

Weird problem - trying to mount a DigiTech Death Metal pedal to my pedalboard, but the velcro does not stick to the rubber used on the base. Anyone got any adhesive solution idea? I don't want to use cable ties if possible. How do otherDigitech users/owners get round this?

i highly recommend the heavy duty ones by 3M. i bought cheap-ass generic brands before and the tape keeps coming off. remember, HEAVY-DUTY ok:D

available at hardware shops all over the world.

Ok - I will try this - have you tried it on a Digitech pedal? It has some weird-ass rubber on the base that is very very smooth and seems to be almost teflon-like in its ability to repel the tapes I have (I just tried all my tapes on its base and they just slip off...)...

nope i dont have any pedals by digitech. you mentioned you used "regular sellotape and masking tape" and still the tape slipped off? the 'adhesiveness' on the mounting tapes are a little stronger than those tapes. (I used two long strips to 'hang' my 4 socket extension plug on the wall, and it's still up there after 4 months)

OR..

super glue the velcro onto your pedals.. but i'd doubt you'd do that :)

ibanez 9 series pedals are much like digitech ones, but i have more probs with ibanez compared to digitech. mounting tape should solve the problem lah.

mine is sticking on just fine.. but the sticker at the back came off.. at first it wouldnt stick but then i tried with a new piece of velcro and held it there for awhile. hasn't dropped off.
