How to get a classic rock tone from a Roland Jazz Chorus?

No doubt the Jazz Chorus is excellent for its cleans, but I can't seem to dial in a good distortion tone that sounds big and fatass. Let week gigging, only my Zoom Hyper Lead saved me from getting horrible distortion sounds.

Anyone have tips on how to get a class/hard rock tone from this amp?

hmm ok didn't know the JC had a effects send/return...

Viruz - how would i plug my equipment in this case? Sorry quite new to the Effects Return thingy....

Currently i'm having this:

Washburn MG74 -> Zoom Hyper Lead -> Zoom Power Drive -> Boss Super Chorus -> Amp.

Thanks in advance... :)
