How To: Check fret/fingerboard life

Looking at those pictures, I think I know the cause of excessive buzzing when I place my capo on my old Yamaha acoustic guitar. The fretwear is not as bad as in the picture but it's definitely quite obvious.

Anyone knows how much a partial refret would cost? I'll probably just refret the first few because the other frets still have a lot of life in them (surprisingly).
