How much would a brand new modified PS2 set cost???

Its been some time since i play some video games..the last was during nintendo era...wanted to get a brand new modified ps2 set with some free dvd games at $290 ... xbox360 is so expensive and the new ps3 price is like equivalent to buying a yamaha drumset or ibanez guitar etc.

Gamers out there willing to give an insight on how much would a brand new modified PS2 set with some free dvd games cost??

you can actually get a ps2 slim in JB for about $220 SGD.
fully modded with 10 free games, 1 controller.

The slim isn't good...not much space for air to flow through unlike the bulky PS2 which has the cooler fan inside.

that's not true,ive been using the modded ps2 slim with Infinity chip since feb 2005 n it works perfectly.It all boils down to the version/brand of the mod chip n workmanship of the technician who install the chip.Ive heard
all these 'overheat' issues on the Slim PS2 too,but not on my set though.Think of it,Sony engineers so stupid meh to redesign their PS2 n yet can 'overheat' easily?If it really overheat(touchwood),u can place the Slim ps2 vertically anyway so the heat disperse faster rather than place horizontally where the base touches the ground(something like Laptop PC).This is Sony leh.To me i feel they wanna sell the fatter n older PS2 model than the slim ones cos profit margin higher?

wats the use of air flow on the slim ps2 when its already designed
to have EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY???hahaha.that's y the ps2 got an external power supply,same as PC NOtebook power supply,therefore the design of the console can be sleek n small.Don't listen to naysayers,i suggest
u go for the PS2 Slim,small,sleek n cool piece of hardware.

somehow i prefer ps anytime over xbox,perhaps im used to the controller,xbox's controller kinda hard to play,no matter how many time i try it,still prefer ps one,haha :wink:
