how much to upgrade pickups?

any quoatations on how much it would cost to modify my pickups (SSS) and change to a new set of strings..as in buying new strings as well as paying to re-string them?

if so, where can i get a good deal from?

Pickups alone will cost from a range of 130 and up for each individual piece.
Service fee for getting a tech to wire and string the guitar up is about 40 thereabouts, varies from place to place.

Just look around luthermusic classified ads or hop over to sweelee, davis, music plaza and check out the variety of pickups available.

if urs is sss suggest u go this shop at parklane... the one next to the fender shop... i saw quite a variety of sss pickups...
