How many years did u play before actually joining a band?

As topic says , ehm i'm just wondering if 1 year of experience is sufficient to play in a band ?

i just started e guitar a year ago , still do not know if i can fit in a band. i love playing jrock songs. :roll:

i sang in impromto group for teacher's day concert in sec 4, by pre 1 I had picked up guitar and formed my own band.

yo dude - when you feel you're confident enuff then go for it... even if you join and get kicked out - dont be down hearted... with practise & passion one day you'll make it...

Hi. there are pp who play 10 years been good.

and some asshole talent play for 2 years as good as 10 year experienced.

you judge. is not about the time.

I joined the church band as a trainee guitarist even before I learnt how to play the guitar..

I took up Yamah guitar lesson (TM) prior to joining the church band, but I didn't like it and eventually I quit & somehow, I manage to catch the wave again.

4 years. But I was mainly into acoustic and had not fully 'bloomed' on electric, which until that point in time was roughly only going into 1 year's worth of bedroom noodling.

mine was abit wierder. the first band i played in, mi frenz and i started i b4 we could actualli play. it was like"hey u guys wanna form a band?" then from ther we jus choose wad we wanted to play and we started learnin our indivdual instruments and wen we got better we started jammin. it wasnt much but we had fun. then after tat i wen to a more serious band
