whoops. meant to say. you prefer mounted or with legs. i guess thats clearer. floors have legs mah. i use 14/11" and 16/13" toms. prefer that to 14/14 and 16/16 floor toms. your preference?

it depends really. if ur gigging alot and bringing the kit with u i reckon a floor tom with legs, cause ur gonna have to lug an extra stand and thts pretty shit. if its staying in one place and sound quality is a major issue, ie recording studio hanging for sure.

i wldn't put a 16 floor tom on sus mount though. esp not those yamaha ones, or ayotte or pearl. i wld get a sus mount with legs, like the ones RIM mount sells.
14 floor toms are still okie to hang

i'm in aussieland. thts my baby, 14x7 legend snare. they dun make them anymore. it's my fav snare, had it for abt 7yrs already. i just put woodhoops on it and it sounds really dry now. i love tht snare

My 1st Kit was that Green Colour Yamaha Stage Custom lar - Dunno how to play drum, butfeel that Big set looks killer - so order a Yamaha 8pcs then add to 11pcs - (sold the rest items) now it is 9pcs Kit

To be honest wah-low so many toms, dunno which one to hit - till never ever hit the 16" Floor tom.....hahahaha.....


But I find a small Kit eg 4pcs kit for my Jazz too small ley, dunno why I feel that a 7pcs Kit will be just nice (not too much not too little) actually 6pcs enough liao........Then I also have a small kit within my medium size kit...Hehehehe :lol:
