I use a 10", 12" and 16" config. Most of the time I will bring my 10" tom for gigs. Can't live without my 10" tom. But on some other bands I will scale down to 12" and 16" or 13" and 16". Kick size wil depend on what the studio has to offer. Most studios has a standard 22" kick. But I had my own kit I would get a 14" floor then a 16". Easier to tune.
