How long do your picks last?

My V-pick Screamer, Jazz III and Stubby have been with me for almost a year. V-pick are very durabable. Then again, it depends on how u use them. ;)

well,my v pick screamer lasted me only 4 months,it lost its sharpness,so i grinded it down with a dremel which lasted me another 1 week.the next time i grinded it,well,it looks sharp but odd shaped and unplayable.
im using jazz III now, its way cheaper to replace than v picks but not might last longer, but still more budget friendly :)

my picks usually last only a while; it's really about how hard i pick pertaining to the music i play, of course. my dead picks:

whoa, sub, how much do you spend on all your picks??!!

I had my ernie balls M picks warped after 2 days of se on my acoustic :( and tremelo picking wears the pick out pretty quickly for me. And i lose my picks too. I have such poor affinity with them picks that I buy picks everytime i go to a guitar store.

how do you guys tell that a pick is "worn-out" ?

/edit

i use a dunlop tortex "the wedge" 1.14mm picks. its my main pick and been using it for 6 months now. im a heavy pick abuser i can say, as i tend to grip more to one side cos im a pinch harmonics addict ala zakk wlyde. (i find it easier to nail it when gripping at the edge) so far the only wear i've seen is that the printed logo on the pick has been reduced to half since i grip it more to one side.

hmmm how do you guys manage to keep your picks for a long time? for me i always put it on a pick holder behind my headstock :D

Dunlop JD Jazztone 205

Been changing/trying out all sort of guitar picks for ages...v-picks, bones, jazzIII, stubby, alice etc

Finally settled with this. It's almost the same size Jazz III but I really like the material it's made of. It's kinda like stick to your fingertip and great for speedpicking. It's called JD Jazztone 205 by Dunlop. Quite cheap...80 cents to $1.

Found a way to make my pick stay 'longer' with me. I stick a strip double sided tape behind my guitar headstock. Always placed my pick back there after using it.

Here's photo of dat jazztone :

Depends on how awesome you play on a guitar. The more awesome the more it'll disintegreate and disappear.LOL!

I had a pick which wore out but still its so fun to use.
