How long do your picks last?

Do you guys have the problem with your picks (i guess the thinner ones) warping/bending?

Is it unavoidable and how long do your picks last usually before they warp?

the only problem i have with my picks is losing them. only god knows how many times i've lost my picks :(

My picks last 10mins to 2 hours. And its not because it wares off due to crazy tremolo picking. But simply because it gets lost. Never had a pick that stayed with me long enough to ware and tear.

i keep buying new ones and keep the old ones as souvenirs. :S They do wear out but I guess a little filling can make it sharp or nice and rounded again... until they're too small to hold comfortably.

if using really thin picks, i guess try not to strum too hard so warping doesn't happen...that said, i hardly lose my picks...only lost like all of them at once when i lost my wallet!

My picks lasts forever.

Because I reshape them again with a file and then polish with 2000 grit fine sandpaper.

Nyuk nyuk nyuk....

i own one of those. i store 3 jazz picks in it. i usually lose my picks while playing. they'll slip off my hand and roll of to another dimension. lol

Jazz Stubbys last well, and I dont have a habit of losing them although I do drop them off the universe now and then. I bought tonnes, and leave them at various parts of the house, wallet, guitar bag, jeans, amp, behind the nut.

I've not needed to go buy some for maybe a year. I do find lost, usable sheep now and then at incredulous places so that heps.

My picks last a long time. Actually, my picks that are thicker than 0.70mm wear away or develop big cracks but do not warp. My nylons are thinner than that and warp but don't wear away. I still use a nylon 0.60mm even though it's warped. Gives a very bright, crisp sound and useful when I don't want my guitar to be too loud.

The Dunlop Ultex pick are extremely durable. You should give them a try. A bit expensive, tho, but definitely worth the money; unless, ofcos, if u keep losing picks.

my picks usually last only a while; it's really about how hard i pick pertaining to the music i play, of course. my dead picks:
