You don't need perfect pitch to sing but it helps to know if you have problems distinguishing pitches. Stumbled on this web site that tests your ability to tell tones apart, and how good you are at remembering musical phrases. Give it a go and share your score.

Tonedeaf Test: Test your musical skills in 6 minutes!

I scored 83% in the tonedeaf test which puts me in the average category and in the adaptive pitch test, I can tell tones 2.7 Hz apart, which is also average. I was hoping for better

91.7% .. all those years of piano lessons paid off :P

Some of the 4 chord sequences I just couldn't remember the final chord .. and those low notes were also difficult to make out the precise pitch.

Edit: 0.7125 hz for the pitch discrimination test

Where did they put the score? 0.o I went through the test but the only percentage was the one where the progress was, is that the score?

Ok I just got the score after the damn survey... Did up a 96% score after using headphones on.. got a headache from all the buzzes off the speakers on the first try -_o

I don't think it's anything to do with piano lessons I think, unless you count in how you're mentally noting down each note... which I don't feel to be the point of the test..

Which part of you is the 30% :P Ok er ... change topic LOL

I think I'm just psychic lar with the answers.. my ears full of wax, can make candles one..

88.9%

Knew/know my mistakes..but I thought I should lighten up and not take it seriously, as that's the best way to somehow get "real" results. Second trial got higher of course, 94.4%.

But in any case, this one's cool and fun.
