Sorry if there were any similar threads.

Well, im a drummer but im asking this question on behalf of my best friend, who is a bassist.

He bought a Squier PBass around last month or so. And he wants to take the pickguard out. Anybody knows how? He says the knobs(is it called the knobs?) are like, getting in the way. So he cant take it out. And he's a noob in hardware stuff.

So how? Thanks for replies. =)

lol , simple , just pull the knobs out . then unscrew the pickguard . but why does he wanna do that ? isn't pbass front routed ? the pickguard is there to cover the holes .

you mean what, just pull out the knobs? btw, what do you mean by, routed?

the knobs shud be detachable...
jus pull them out..
but i doubt it would look nice without the pickguard...
front routed means the wires are in front isnt it?

aren't pbass knobs mounted to the pickguard and not to the body?
