i played this game on the PS3 i think, called Dead Space.

Bloody terrifying.

i played fatal frame in a freezing cold room, lights all off and with headphones on.

okay there were some freaky parts, but got through the game with relative ease, compared to the other horror games i've played.

eh jeepers.. intro some other more scary games u played lah.. i dun mind trying.. hahaha.. but must be fun ah.. i dun wan like..the whole game i scare myself nia..

what i define as good horror game is... u know the ghost/monster chasing u from behind.. then u need to solve the puzzle quickly to get to the next room or something..
i hate those like.. no good reason then pop up on your tv screen and scared the shit out of u.. those are dumb.. cuz i can design such low class games too.. haha...

play station 1.. tecmo deception is good.. the sound of the footsteps approaching is just..godlike! hahaha.. best horror game. but shitty graphic..

Try Scratches and The Lost Crown!
Both puzzle adventure games..
Scratches is you alone in a freaky house and you keep hearing sounds, and you do thingies to try unravel what the hell is going on... Really good ambience thing going.
The Lost Crown is about you playing a ghosthunter in this town by the sea, with all your diff gadgets (night vision cam, evp recorder, etc) to get ghost evidence whilst searching for a lost artifact. Graphics are really good, tight myth-related storyline and gorgeous soundtrack.
