Hi,

Is the abovementioned (the topic) do-able, be it DIY modification or otherwise? Im kinda interested in getting and then hooking up a cab with maybe 2x12" speakers or something to my amp, but it doesnt have a speaker out jack...

Thanks!

what amp is that bro ...off course u can mod it ...but im not sure the impact when u wanna sell it...

wats the reason that u wanna hook up another cab ?u might wanna check with seekz if he does this kinda mod...

You will need to ensure the impedences of the speakers currently in the combo and the external cab will be the same.

Only minor mods required.

Desoldering the current speakers, adding a 1/4" output jack onto the hookup wire which was connected to the speakers in the combo. Then just use 1/4" plugs connected to speaker cables and connect to external cab.

When you and if you wanna revert back to the combo, desolder the output jack and connect it back to the internal speakers.

Make sure you take detailed notes of the current wiring combination.
