Blood Dunza has been tuning in to the Dnb sound since he was 18; hanging out with the Magnetic Soul crew, helping out with the HK Dnb cause. He played his first set at 24 during 2004,
a year after picking up DJ-ing. Blood started the Heavy crew in 2005, representing the heavier vibes of Dnb in Hong Kong and ‘Bloody Heavy’ (a popular night amongst the local massive

that is mainly supported by DJs and selectas from HK, Macau and mainland China), was quickly recognized as the monthly that was always heavy, grimey, and sonic sharp.
He represents Reggae and Dubstep heavily as well, running ‘Dubstep Forward’, a monthly Dubstep gathering feeding the local headz’ hunger for Dub and Electronica. Blood is often a
supporting host down at the Good Vibes Soundsystem, another indie promoter of the HK underground sound, this time Reggae. Running strong and consistent for awhile now, Blood
recently celebrated Heavy’s 3rd year anniversary in March to a crazy massive of both regulars and new heads; things are looking positive.
On the other hand, Blood has helmed the decks with Ed rush and Optical, Lynx, Big Bud, Chris Su, Jade, Calibre, Pendulum, Doc Scott, Marcus Intalex, Utah Jazz, Fabio, Dieselboy, Spectra
Soul, Nu:tone, Sonic, A-sides, Suv, Knowledge and Winsome, Tenor Fly, Drs, TC1 and Stress Level, Youthman, Dragon, Dmz, Uprooted Sunshine Soundsystem, and most recently Kiat. He
is anticipating highly, the chance to represent the HK sound to massives of different parts.
