im a chinese/malaysian who has been living in Australia for over 24 years.
ive just quit my job for a new one and have found out i have a lot of annual leave which im getting paid! ive decided to surprise my wife by taking us to singapore on christmas day and spend new years...returning to Perth Western Australia on 3rd jan...and starting my new job on 5th (should be interesting)
so far...i booked accomation in clark quay(sp) and have tickets to spend new years at santosa(sp?) for that beach siloso beach party.
anyone going? or have been that could tell me what to expect?
and would appreciate any suggestions on shopping/night life etc
i am planning to sneak some guitar shopping (new/2nd hand telecaster/pedals etc)
so would appreciate any local knowledge
also if any good bands playing between 25th Dec to 2nd Jan would be cool.
i dont know if anyone on this forum here knows a singaporean producer named Roland Lim, but i knew him when he was in perth and might also try to get in contact with him(if i can find his number)
