Hey, its been long since i posted, cause i didnt really face any problems. but i am back.

I have an electronic drumset. which i think isnt good at all- no feel :(
And i realise the high hat pedal feels dam light. like no weight like that. thus making my stepping very unstable. i cant really control it. like shit la. wondering if you guys face such problems too. anyway, i am learning high hat stepping. so all the songs i try, i only try the stepping part. like for Hysteria, the stepping must be constant. thn with the weightless thing, i like going faster and faster. so yea, and one more thing, do you guys step the high hat pedal with your whole leg, or you ' tip-toe' or you like shaking leg like that? i tip toe.
thanks. hope this is not a stupid threat- i just want to drum better. :(

Maybe you can get a spring and add underneath the pedal?

Anyway, there's a lot of foot techniques for the hihat. It's just like bass drum, with the heel up or heel down and so on.

But I think for electronic drumset, the slight difference in sound won't be noticeable. For elecs, the amount of pressure won't really change the sustain and tone of the foot sound when you stomp on the pedal... right?
