Hi travistravist,

Nice attempt.

Was the 1st half written by one person and the 2nd half by another? I feel the structure/flow/style kinda different between the 2 (verse1, pre-chorus1, chorus1 vs verse2, pre-chorus2, chorus2).

The 1's are more like conversation whilst the 2's has more attention to word rhyms, commonly found in songwriting/poems. I ain't saying one is wrong and the other IS it. Jux suggesting perhaps some consistency or be more congruent in the writing approach may work better. It can affect your melody composition as well.

Keep trying if that's your love to write/compose songs.

hey guys thanks for the input!

we're glad you like it!

PFA: yeah your right! well the "first" part was written last minute actually.. thats why it might have felt alittle dislocated. we kinda rushed the whole production in 4 days lol cuz we thought it was gonna end last sunday.. and the lyricist had this crazy idea on a thursday hehe

on hindsight i had about 2 days to weave a melody around the "second" part and moved words a little here and there but the first part was written on the fly so yeah i think we could have better word choices there

what about the mix and arrangement guys?

its my first time doing it and i know i kinda screwed it up lol.... i think i did make the keyboards and guitar blend alot better but maybe not enough or even ideal..
