Man, it's been ages since I posted here. And it's still got that same familiar vibe.

It's Levan here. I was just wondering how the music scene in Singapore's been of late. I've been away for quite a while now, in Melbourne currently pursuing my Ph.D in Sociology (More like Permanent Head Damage!), and am really out of touch with the music scene back in SG.

I've been trying to keep up with some of the good music coming out of our sunny island, checking it out and looking for new tunes to dig in general!

Watched Inch Chua's new music video and liked it. Really glad to see so many great musicians winning contests too!

Was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any new, upcoming SG bands that have come out since the last year? Always on the lookout for fun new tunes for consumption

hey been awhile since i last saw that name...hmmm you can search up Soft's loudest band contest thread from just a few months back. some bands there look quite promising. my personal fav would be the green monster i think. presents a very fresh kinda music. there's one for more technical listeners also...can't rmb the band name off hand now but it's quite obvious when they start their set...a six string bassist always spells technicality to me. all the best in ur phd though
