hi all,
i had trouble with my bass drum/bass padel.i hav bought a 2nd hand kit 1mth ago.i had no problem with it before cleaning the drum.
after all the cleaning n puting it back together,it seems wierd.when i step on it, it dosent feels natural.it seems to be having 4 or 5 hit with 1 step.
after looking around the web tuning here n there it seems to be getting worst.
i cant play on the kit anymore.its like some feels got lost
any advice would be appreciate

hmmm could you have cleaned the greass off some of the moving parts?

Maybe...

- You didn't put it back correctly?
- The spring is dead - no tension left?

Anyway, it's impossible to help you without pictures.

Sounds like the tension is too tight...loosen it a little? And its possible that the bass drum might be tuned too tight too....

i hav tune the bass drum to just abit more to be able to c wrinkle.
maybe its the pillow i put inside since i lay it just nice on the drum head.
for the padel,i hav tune the tension from tight n loose, all dosen't seem right
