Help: Which drumset should I Get?

hey marc, thanks for keeping an open mind. Yup unfortunately one major flaw in sg is that we dun get to test most of the drum kits before we actually purchase them, so we buy simply by reading about their specifications. But I believe that you gotta personally try the kit and see if it suits your liking before actually investing in one.

Btw do you own a pdp maple kit? I wld like to try it if you do. Cheers.

I was by All Music @ Excelsior today, they might be worth checking out if anyone's looking for pdps, seemed to have a good range of snares, and a kit set up. I didn't go in, so you gotta check it out yourself.

I actually enquired bout the pdps at ranking before and they said its not for testing. Well since all music is under the ranking family I assume the kits cant be tested too. But thanks for the info anw. Cheers.

Need help please, am clueless on which drum kit to get. Very shallow, at this point of time, choice is based on look, huh. Maple is recommended here, but any specific model? Or pearl or Mapex…. Between drum kit that is $1k and $2k, what are we paying for (experience will tell)? Budget below $2k. Thanks!

walao must repeat how many times ah... haiyoo.. last time..

PDP MX or CX series.. about 1.5 to 1.8k.. for a standard 5 piece kit with hardware..

*MID RANGE - HIGH END KITS DOESN'T COME WITH CYMBALS:D

hahaha Thanks!! Unless you are lukewarm else you will can't tahan and still share/help again...

Browse your recommendation, Mx series, nice.

Btw, you aware of the current display model, red set, at drumresource.

Sorry, bear with me. Thanks...

human, there's a search button that u can use to check...

and there already lots of recommendations...

for me, the most value for money is that pdp.. but u have to order it...

mapex i think u'd go for the pro m series.. but the finishes don't really appeal to me so yeah that's why i'd recommend the pdp...
