Help! preamp problem

I'm starting to build my pedal board now for church use. So far i've accumulated a JnH and Sansamp tri-od (not the tri-ac, i'm talking about the predecessor). My intention was to use the sansamp as a preamp into the church PA, and the jnh as my main drive unit.

However... after testing it at home with my practice amp (a Marshall 15cdr) i've realised that the sansamp is sucking volume, and i really need to up the levels to reach similar volumes

Now i really like the sansamp's brit distortion, but i cant seem to find a good clean sound with the fender channel. Even with the jerkyll side on, it takes away the fullness of the tone.

Im not sure if there's anything wrong with my settings
Are there any decent preamps which will help solve this problem?

i believe you want your pedal true bypassed for cleans ...either mod your pedal for true bypass or get a true pypass looper !!

Guitar - BD2 for best clean/dirt via guitar volume knob(or your fav pedal) - decent amp - condensor mic - PA

Please be reminded that a speaker is an essetial part of your tone ...

er sorry but i think i've been mistunderstood

i dont really want to run the rig thru an amp, since im playing direct into PA
as for the clean(er) tone, the problem comes when the sansamp is on, not off

i like the sound with just the jnh (without the sansamp on in the chain), but once i activate the sansamp, there's a huge volume loss, no matter which channel i use

ok i just rectified the 'problem' by upping the level and lowering the treble & bass eq knobs...
haha i feel somewhat like an idiot now
