anyone know a good combination of pickups for black metal?
something trash,like sacofargo,beherit,vital remains?

IMO nothing can beat EMG pickups in terms of gain .

pickup is prolly 40% of the whole thing to get those high gain distortion.

Without the distortion, either from amp or pedals pushing a driven amp. The guitar with high gain pickup will still sound clean...

anyway, in short, search for the amp/pedals that give those chuggah chuggah thingy.
