Hi guys,

Apparently I yanked too hard on my pedal's battery connector(the one that you connect to the pts of the battery) and it totally came off with the pt still connected.

Can I just solder this back and will it work fine? How about if I just use a power supply.

The big question is: Can my pedal still be used?

as above, using adaptor will solve the problem

But if die die wanna replace the thing, the battery snap is 25cent or there bout at simlim tower 3rd floor. Walk round there, most shop should have it. (first pic)

iF wanna save time and trip and the money, dismantle a used 9volt batt. You will find the batt snap in a 9v batt as well. Just cut away whats necessary, solder 2 wires to the point. Once done seal up the area where we solder. Instant diy batt snap. (2nd pic)

For your info the diy battery snap will only work using the battery snap from Eveready or Gp greencell that been tested b4 fix.I have try using energizer but the snap is loose which can be intermittent when used. The best solution is you test the snap with the battery you always used b4 you make it your new batterysnap.
And if you bought the battery snap from simlim, try to get the blue color snap not the black one cause it is more durable and lasting. The black one tend to tear easily.

CAUTION:WEAR SAFETY GOGGLE IF YOU WANT TO PRY OPEN THE BATTERY.
